Wayfarers Arcade is committed to supporting a number of local, national and international causes. Details of which can be found below:

Since February 2004 Wayfarers has pledged over £40,000 to charitable organisations.

Considerable donations have been made to;

Samaritans (Southport and District) - www.samaritans.org
Samaritans is a charity that provides confidential emotional support for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide.

British Deaf Association - www.britishdeafassociation.org.uk
The BDA exists to ensure that deaf people who use British Sign Language (BSL) have the same rights and entitlements as any other citizens.

Whizz-Kidz - www.whizz-kidz.org.uk
Whizz-Kidz is a national children’s charity that provides disabled children with customised mobility equipment, training and advice, which helps to give them independence.

Village Service Trust - http://villageservicetrust.org.uk
Village Service Trust raises funds to support work in Tamil Nadu, India, in the fields of women's development, TB control, HIV/Aids education and community health.

Dove Cottage Hospice - www.dovecottage.org   
Dove Cottage Day Hospice provides support and services for people living with a life threatening illness in the Vale of Belvoir and surrounding areas.

Send a Cow - www.sendacow.org.uk
Send a Cow gives direct, practical help to poor farmers in Africa by providing cows and other livestock, training in livestock rearing and organic farming, and low-cost veterinary and advice services.

Significant amounts have also been pledged to the Makor Ha Tikya School, a school in Israel with which a Pedlar family member has connections. The local Birkdale United Reformed Church also received a donation as well as the Medical Foundation and Offshore Lifeboat.  

Each year Wayfarers Arcade bestows a designated amount of money to the Southport Flower Show and the Southport Christmas Lights fund. 

In addition to the donations above, 2006 saw further aid go to North West Air Ambulance and Southport-based Queens Court Hospice
